VP of Marketing

In this pivotal role, you will work with Sales, Product Management, Marketing Communications, Marketing Programs and Business Development to drive the company's customer-facing marketing plans including positioning and messaging for Virtual Incentive's open loop and closed loop virtual e-incentives and e gift cards product portfolio. We are looking for a creative thinker with an extroverted personality who thrives in a fast paced environment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Drive and implement Virtual Incentive's positioning and messaging for the Company's main solution portfolio.
  • Take a leadership role with accountability for driving the business success for the Virtual incentives and eGiftcard portfolio of products.
  • Be a product evangelist and spokesperson for the Virtual incentives and eGiftcard portfolio of products communicating with both internal (insides sales) and external stakeholders (partners, press, analysts) through social media (twitter, blogs, etc.) Webcasts, briefings and product demonstrations.
  • Support our sales organization as the primary interface for sales enablement initiatives (positioning guides, presentations, battle cards, demos, etc.).
  • Jointly plan and execute marketing plans including selection, defining and managing of marketing campaigns with Virtual Incentive's Demand Generation team.
  • Participate in the development and refinement of external solution launch plans and timelines.
  • Work closely with Virtual Incentive's Corporate Communications team and external PR agencies to generate press releases and media coverage, generate customer reference stories.
  • Experience:

    Ideal candidate has 5+ years of product marketing or product management experience in enterprise applications (b-to-b technology and incentive marketing) and/or security solutions, ideally with a strong foundation in the vulnerability management or related markets.

    High-energy, creative problem solver with an extroverted, entrepreneurial attitude. An enthusiastic personality, self-starter with a proven ability to multi-task and work under pressure without a lot of supervision.

    Solid technical foundation with the ability to translate technical content into business value for internal and external stakeholders.

    Proven experience in creating marketing materials for demand generation campaigns, composing tweets, writing blogs, Web site content, data sheet, magazine articles, press releases, datasheets and other promotional collateral and communications.

    Strong communicator: written, verbal (one-on-one and group).

    Ability to discuss business issues and relate them back to incentives that helps improve business.

    Education: Requires Bachelors Degree, MBA preferred and industry experience is a plus
